Who we are

Boiler Comparisons is a trading name of BLOQ Group Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 15314821, registered office 29, 2 Malvern House, Palmer Road, London SW11 4GJ.

What the service is

We take the details of the work you need and introduce you to up to three Gas Safe registered heating engineers who cover your postcode area. They contact you and quote. That is the whole service.

We are not a heating company. We do not carry out gas work, we are not Gas Safe registered ourselves, and we do not supply boilers. We do not employ the engineers.

Who you contract with

If you accept a quote, your contract is with that engineer's business and nobody else. They are responsible for the work, the materials, the warranty, the certification and any dispute about any of it. We are not a party to that contract and cannot perform it for them.

This matters and we would rather be blunt about it than bury it: choosing an engineer is your decision, and we recommend you check their Gas Safe registration yourself at gassaferegister.co.uk before work begins. Every engineer carries a card with a number on it and you are entitled to ask to see it.

What we check

Before an engineer joins the network we verify their Gas Safe registration number against the public register, confirm they are a registered business, and record the postcode areas they genuinely cover. We check the register again before jobs are sent out. We do not supervise their work, inspect their vans or guarantee their quotes.

What it costs you

Nothing. There is no fee to you at any point. The engineer pays us a fixed fee for the introduction, and they pay the same fee whether or not they win the job, so we have no financial reason to steer you towards any particular quote.

No obligation

You are under no obligation to accept any of the quotes. You can take one, take none, or go elsewhere entirely. There is nothing to cancel.

Homeowners only

A boiler replacement has to be authorised by whoever owns the property, so we can only arrange quotes where you own it. If you are a tenant, pass us on to your landlord.

Your responsibilities

Give us accurate information. Submitting someone else's details without their permission is not on, and we will delete leads we believe were submitted that way.

Prices and information on this site

Cost ranges and guides on this site are estimates offered in good faith to help you understand the market. They are not quotes and they are not advice for your specific property. Only an engineer who has looked at the job can give you a real figure.

Limits

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, workmanship or quotes of the engineers we introduce.

Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Complaints

If an engineer we introduced you to has behaved badly, tell us. We remove engineers from the network for it. Email quotes@boilercomparisons.co.uk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
