Boiler Comparisons Ltd operates Boiler Comparisons, an introduction service that matches homeowners with Gas Safe registered boiler installers. We are the data controller for the personal data you give us.

Your name, email address, phone number and postcode. Details about the job: your property, your current boiler, what you want fitted, your budget and your timeline.

We also record the date and time you gave consent, your IP address and your browser user agent. We keep this so we can prove you agreed to your details being shared, which protects both you and us.

This is the important bit. When you submit the form and tick the consent box, we pass your details to a maximum of 3 Gas Safe registered installers so they can contact you with a quote. That is the entire purpose of the service. Those installers become data controllers for your data once they receive it.

We do not sell your data to anyone else. We do not pass it to brokers, list builders, or companies in unrelated industries.

Consent. You tick a box, unticked by default, which tells us in plain English that your details will be passed to installers. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us, and we will delete your record.

We keep lead records for 24 months so we can handle complaints and prove consent. After that we delete them. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will.

You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, and object to us using it. Email us and we will action it within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We set nothing beyond what the site needs to work until you tell us we can. When you first arrive you can accept all cookies, reject all of them, or choose. Rejecting is one click, the same as accepting.

Strictly necessary: keeps the site working and secure. Cannot be switched off.

Analytics: Google Analytics. Tells us which pages people use and where they abandon the form. We do not see who you are.

Advertising: Google Ads and Meta. Lets us measure which adverts brought people here.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Your choice is stored for six months, after which we ask again.
